When smaller is genuinely better

A mini skid steer is not simply a scaled-down version of a larger machine — it solves a different problem. It goes where nothing else fits:

• Through standard gates — access residential and confined sites without dismantling fencing
• Indoor work — warehouses, factories, barns and basements where larger machines cannot enter
• Finished landscaping — low ground pressure and a narrow footprint protect turf and paving
• Transport convenience — fits on smaller trailers and light trucks, no heavy haulage required
• Lower operating cost — smaller engine, less fuel, cheaper parts

Model specifications

The two most compact machines in the range — one wheeled, one tracked. Both figures are taken from the factory specification sheet. A dedicated mini-series (TA300–TA800 class) with more sizes is available; ask us for the current line-up.

• Barn cleaning, feed handling and stable maintenance

• Trenching for irrigation, drainage and utility runs

What to check before buying

• Width — measure your narrowest access point, not your widest. Every millimetre counts
• Height — confirm clearance for any doorway or overhead obstruction
• Rated capacity — mini machines reach their limit quickly. Be honest about payload
• Attachment compatibility — confirm the quick-attach type if you own attachments already
• Ground pressure — matters most when working on finished landscaping
